December 1978

Although not the 80's this was the second Smash Hits Issue released, in December 1978. It is the earliest magazine in my collection. Blondie was featured on the cover of issue number one. When the magazine was first released it came out monthly, but soon changed to a fortnightly edition!

Inside this issue there was lyrics to singles, some of which included: Elvis Costello - Radio Radio, Olivia Newton John - Hopelessly Devoted to You, Dan Hartman - Instant Replay, Public Image Limited - Public Image, Blondie - Hanging On The Telephone, Elton John - Part Time Love and many more...
